More postcards

So far with postcrossing, I've been having a blast that I started another blog about it. I wonder how long this will last lol

I made 2 more cards, one that I just threw into the post about 20-30 mins ago. Hopefully he likes it, the 2nd person didn't seem to like it lol

So this is the one I just mailed, I hope he likes it. It was interesting to make but the puns are really terrible I'm almost sorry I wrote them... 

These might be the last custom cards I make in awhile since classes are back and I still have to finish the sketchbook...yup this is the last year I swear |D

Post-Animethon '12

Ah animethon is finally over, it was a great weekend and I enjoyed myself immensely. I ended up beating my sales record yet again, so I'm very happy about that. I plan to get a paypal "buy" button up and running soon to make things so much easier for anyone who is interested in purchasing anything.

Also before animethon my sketchbook arrived...it arrived the day before my birthday (Aug 7) but I ordered it back on July 8...does it really take a month to go from the US to Canada? Seriously? T_T As I say every year, this will be the last time! And then I join again next year lol

So here it is, I already penciled in two pages. My experiment this year, isn't going as planned as the book arrived much too late and once September hits all I will be caring about is school.

Also back at the end of July I started something cool called "Postcrossing" so far I got two postcards circulating. Hope I receive one soon |D That being said, any custom ones I make will be uploaded here. (I doubt there will be many since people don't like hand-made cards for some odd reason.) Here is my first one I made, which was received on Aug 13 =D

The sketchbook...IT LIVES!!!

It has happened! I finally finished my sketchbook! And haven't mailed it yet...

I finished back in December, but for once I actually liked my own work so I was busy documenting it like crazy since I'll never see it again. I'm kinda sad that when it comes back to Canada, it won't be going anywhere near me, or the UK or Australia like promised >|

Anyways here is the front and back covers, I have it all up on deviantart, and here is the rar file too just because the photos I took were nicer looking then the scans I posted on deviantart.

And to re-cap, here is last year's not so awesome sketchbook.

Sketchbook Project 2012

Oh yeah it's backkkkk. I had to join this year since this puppy is going worldwide! Too bad it doesn't stop anywhere near me though T_T The theme this year is "I remember you" as a sequel to "I'm sorry I forgot you." I signed up I think maybe 3 days ago? But with the Canada Post strike (these people, really how many times has it been now?) I wonder when it will get here

In other news, in a month I'll have that new house smell all to myself...ah new house |3

Posting up photos once it eventually gets here. I'm sad no colour choices this year

I finally got the skebu yesterday, funny postmarked on the 22nd. Either way I kinda feel a little cheated with what I received, glad they got rid of that weird library card, didn't quite get that. Again I feel cheated with the book cuz unlike last year which was a nice moleskin book (those are rather pricey too) we have a simplistic notebook with a cardboard cover. And we still pay the same price? Really? Just cause it's recycled, is it even really recycled? Unlike last year this book has only 32 pages, double-sided so much less then last year which was about 50 pages single sided. Well less "work" I guess.

Sweet Mother of Toast! I'm done!

Today is Saturday! Well at least on my side of the world it finally is.

I finally finished up the editing of my sketchbook pages, yeah when I mean editing, I mean cropping and make the images a bit easier to see. In general everything is 100% photoshopped lol

Anyways, I had to break down the folders into 3, since skydrive's file upload limit is 50 MB, the entire folder was about 100MB or something like that. Sure I could have went to another online storage site, but I work with what I have I suppose.

I uploaded the front and back cover on the arthouse site plus character summaries of the 3 characters that appear through out the book. Honestly...wish I saw the fiction project first!

Later today, after a session of pho with one of my mates, I'll finally mail this thing off. I feel slightly paranoid about the post times...after checking Canada Post's site, I'm even more paranoid...oh well Monday is another day.

Well more about my sketchbook, I do realize my handwriting can be complete rubbish, so please feel free to ask about what on earth does the text say, or anything of the sort. I did include in the last folder a txt file with the wording of certain pages since some of it is nearly impossible to make out.

Skebu progress

If someone actually cared that I updated...that would be scary.

Its been quite busy lately and I managed to get the sketchbook done for shipping this Saturday! Finally! I'll upload a zip file with all the pages in it since displaying them all at once would be a pain. Look for me on arthouse's profile, same name.

I also un-officially joined the pockets project too and plan on sending that off the same day as the sketchbook. Can't wait for this thing to start.

Today I got an email about the fiction project...son of a bitch...my sketchbook pretty much fits in that category!

Whatever uploading sketchbook stuff this week.

PS. Japanese isn't good enough yet to start scanning djs. I gave up on Chinese as well.

Sketchbook project 2011

Found this timbit of info while browsing morguefile for a photo.

Thought it was pretty cool, the moment I saw the themes I knew I had to do "I'm sorry I forgot you", hell I've even made a list of things to draw or add into the sketchbook when I get it. Placed the order yesterday, so I might get it around my birthday [8/8] [nice present I know, right?]

Gonna post fotos of the skebu when I get it, and when its done =) I actually started on one page, just gave it the old photoshop touch, now to print and paste once it gets here. I'm so excited XD

Here's the skebu! It took me awhile to get up here since I didn't have a comp for sometime, I actually got it 2 weeks before my birthday, and its nearly done too!
